Charging and Fueling

Although we typically think of gasoline as the only fuel around, there are some other choices that work just as well, if not better in today's vehicles. Alternative fuels such as biodiesel, electricity, ethanol, hydrogen, methanol, natural gas and propane are all cleaner options that reduce our dependence on foreign oil, and minimize air pollution. These fuels may be used in a variety of vehicles that range in function and size - from small passenger cars to large 18-wheeler trucks or transit buses. Some alternative fuels can also be used in off-road products such as forklifts, and agricultural and construction equipment. Here you will find out about the different environmental benefits, perks and conveniences, safety, costs and the technologies each fuel is best suited for.
